Project Summary

Retroflo were engaged by Esh/Stantec (supported by NWG) to undertake the mechanical and electrical installation of the new tertiary solids removal treatment plant at Stokesley STW. The project included pipework, valves, electrical sub-distribution, and system integration for telemetry and SCADA. Works also included installation of a new sump pump, modifications to existing street lighting, and completion of NICEIC 18th Edition inspection, testing, commissioning, and associated documentation. The upgrade improves the performance and compliance of Stokesley STW.

Scope of Works

Retroflo provided a full end-to-end service, including:

  • Supply and installation of above-ground 350 mm and 300 mm ductile iron pipework and valves
  • Supply and installation of above- and below-ground 80 mm ductile iron backwash pipework and valves
  • Electrical design including cable calculations, SLDs, cable diagrams and loop diagrams
  • Supply and installation of electrical sub-distribution for new process plant with provision for future equipment
  • Engagement of system integration subcontractor for telemetry and SCADA works
  • Installation of a new sump pump
  • Modifications to existing street lighting installation
  • Mechanical and electrical installation, commissioning and associated documentation
  • NICEIC 18th Edition inspection, testing and certification
  • Power distribution and control panel installation

Enhanced Tertiary Treatment Performance

Comprehensive Pipework & Valve Installation
