Retroflo were engaged by Esh/Stantec to undertake the mechanical and electrical design at the initial I&D stage (now C&D) for a new three-pump sewage pumping station. The project included design, installation, and commissioning of the pumping station and a 60 kVA permanent standby generator with auto changeover facility. The installation enhances network resilience, ensuring a minimum of 48 hours of continuous operation during mains power outages, reducing the risk of flooding and pollution.

Retroflo delivered the mechanical and electrical design, installation, and commissioning of a new three-pump sewage pumping station, ensuring uninterrupted operation during mains power outages and reducing flood and pollution risk.
A 60 kVA permanent standby generator with integral fuel tank provides a minimum of 48 hours continuous operation, with automatic changeover to maintain service continuity.
The project included three submersible sewage pumps (13.5 kW) driven by VFDs, a re-purposed 3-pump MCC, GRP walk-in kiosk with intruder system, and full electrical design including cable calculations, SLDs, and loop diagrams.
Retroflo completed all mechanical, electrical, and civils installation, commissioning, documentation, and NICEIC 18th Edition inspection, testing, and certification, ensuring a fully compliant and future-ready facility.
