The fully electric Volkswagen e-up! makes virtually no noise at all. This recent advert from the manufacturer is something to shout about.

As we enter the festive period the Retroflo team have been getting in the spirit by decking the exterior of South Hetton’s Robin Todd Community Centre in an array of Christmas lights. The company also sponsored the Santa's Grotto, spreading a little joy with presents for the local children at Wednesday’s Christmas Lights Switch On.

Following Retroflo’s recent selection as an approved electrical contractor partner for Sunderland City Council, the company has successfully completed projects at four junior and infant schools. Work at the schools took place during the six-week summer holidays. Though no pupils were present, the premises were occupied by teachers, admin staff and other specialist contractors requiring a great degree of liaison and meticulous planning to ensure power and lighting levels were maintained during the programmed works.

Retroflo are pleased to announce they have been appointed as an approved installer of free home electric vehicle chargers under the UK Government’s ULEV (Ultra-low Emission Vehicle) strategy. The strategy, published in September 2013, makes available £500m to develop the ULEV marketplace, including £37m funding to install free charge points in homes across the UK.
